Coconut Oil – Cocos Nucifera

Good for all skin types, it creates the biggest bubbles and thanks to its high fatty acid content it has natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Olive Oil – Olea Europaea

One of the best oils for making soaps as it is packed with vitamins and minerals which are condition, moisturising to leave your skin super soft. 

Castor Oil – Ricinus Communis Seed Oil

Extracted from the seeds of the plant, castor oil is heavy oil, rich in Ricinoleic acid making it extremely conditioning for you skin and a perfect ingredient in soap.

Shea Butter – Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter

Extracted from the nuts of a Shea tree to produce nourishing butter that is extremely moisturising with high levels of skin loving vitamins A & E.

Sodium Hydroxide – Lye (NaOH)

The essential ingredient which turn oils & butters into soap. Mixing the ingredients together creates a chemical reaction called saponification. Once saponification has taken place no lye remains in the soap, leaving beautiful handmade soap.  

Kaolin Clay

A mineral compound that is extremely versatile mild, which makes soap silky and creamy. It helps to absorb excess oils from your skin, leaving it balanced and great for sensitive skin. Kaolin is used a lot in face masks.

Pink Clay – Kaolin & Illite 

A natural clay mineral which is softening, toning & detoxifying making it perfect for unblocking pores and brightening your skin. It also contains Silica which is said to improve cell renewal and particularly good for mature skin

Coffee

We’re giving coffee grounds a second life by adding them to our soaps. Coffee is a a skin loving, natural exfoliator and packed full of antioxidants.

Cacao

Raw ground cacao beans are full of antioxidant making it another skin loving ingredient. It is said to repair damaged skin and improve blood circulation.

Activated Charcoal – Charcoal Powder

Made from heating the coconut to create activated charcoal which is used for drawing out toxins, treating oily skin & blemishes, as well as leaving your skin feeling amazing.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

A mild and gentle surfactant derived from Coconut Oil and is 100% palm oil free. Used in facial cleansers, body cleansers, and shampoos. This ingredient gives our shampoo bars their super cleaning powers.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Derived from coconuts, this mild secondary surfactant produces extra bubbles and reduces hair static. You’ll find this ingredient in many natural skin care formulations.  

Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar Gum)

This fantastic ingredient comes from the young beans of the guar plant and is used as a natural bonding agent in our shampoo bar. You’ll find this ingredient in a lot in gluten free baking recipes too.  

Brassica Alcohol

A palm free and vegan-friendly natural thickening agent derived from fatty acids obtained from rapeseed oil. Used in our shampoo bars to condition and softening the hair, making it more manageable and less prone to breakage.

Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter – Cocoa Butter

Extracted from cacao beans, this rich conditioning butter packed with antioxidants and helps condition hair as well as to help maintain a healthy scalp. 

Brassica Oleracea Italica Seed Oil (Organic Broccoli Seed Oil)

Skin and hair loving organic broccoli oil has high levels of erucic acid and Omega-9 fatty acid which is perfect for curly or damaged dry hair. Added to our shampoo bar for extra conditioning powers.

Panthenol  (Vitamin B5)

This little super powder is used to moisturise, hydrate & repair damaged hair as well as adding shine.

Benzyl Alcohol & Salicylic Acid & Glycerin & Sorbic Acid

An eco preservative which is essential to lengthen the shelf life of natural products, keeping them free from bacteria. Approved by COSMOS and ECOCERT for natural products.
